Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos, repeatedly said her loyalty is with losing vice presidential aspirant Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano. She also denied mentioning plan B in her statement.<br /><br />“I am not a supporter of BBM nor Leni because I still believe that Cayetano is the best VP for Pres. Duterte.”<br /><br />Although Uson respects the results of the elections, she said DDS will be watching over Robredo, who is a member of the Liberal Party.<br /><br />“Her loyalty should no longer be with Aquino, Roxas or to her Party. Of the 55,735,757 million registered voters, about 45 million actually exercised their right of suffrage.<br /><br />The combined data from transparency server shows that 43,708,556 of local votes already counted. This adds to the 432,706 votes from OAV. We are receiving lists, nominees, suggetsions of potential members of the Cabinet as well as sub-Cabinet positions and head of various agencies," Laviña said.<br /><br />Known as a brutal-law-enforcer in his turf, Duterte bared during a media interview that he will more likely considered retired military officials like former Armed Forces Chief Hermogenes Esperon to take roles in his administration. <br /><br />On one of the ambush interviews prior to the National Elections, Mayor Rody uttered that: “running a government, after all is pure commonsense.” Meaning, an official doesn’t have to have a rocket science university degree to run an effective government. In line with this, he would really love to have his long-time friend and re-known businessman Carlos “Sonny” Dominguez III to handle either Department of Transportation or Finance Department. Dominguez served as the Agriculture secretary during the administration of late President Cory Aquino.<br /><br />His San Beda College of Law classmate, Arthur Tugade is also highly considered as the Department of Trade and Industries Department. <br /><br />For the Department of Defense, he is still uncertain who he will place in it but one thing is for sure; that he will choose an Ex-General to handle one of the major departments of his administration. <br /><br />To support his propaganda in suppressing the illegal drug trade, Duterte revealed that he himself will handle the DILG because he wants to directly supervise the PNP. He will just hire a “pure manager” as his undersecretary. We were happy to do our share in making this possible,” Pangilinan said.<br /><br />“To make that happen, our entire organization prepared thoroughly for this very important national event, and was on full alert priot to and on election day itself. As it turned out, our network performed smoothly, enabling voting precincts to quickly transmit election returns,” said PLDT Group EVP and ePLDT President and CEO Ernesto R. Alberto.<br /><br />PLDT and its wireless subsidiaries Smart Communications and Sun provided high bandwidth voice and data connectivity to Smartmatic, which handled election automation services for the COMELEC, Alberto explained.<br /><br />Smart and Sun accounted for 60% of the pool of SIMs used by Smartmatic to transmit election returns from precincts. PLDT also powered the DSL broadband connection of 386 canvassing sites. To ensure problem-free transmission of results to the national board of canvassers, the company deployed technical support teams to the canvassing sites.<br /><br />Further, the PLDT Group donated fiber-optic cable connectivity and hosting services to the PPCRV for their transparency servers which supplied election results data to the various media organizations, Alberto added.<br /><br />PLDT also partnered with media organizations to support their fast and digitally-enabled election coverage. It provided some of the connectivity requirements of GMA7 for its coverage and of ABS-CBN in its hosting of the presidential debate at the University of Pangasinan.<br /><br />Moreover, PLDT supported the data-driven coverage of TV5, resulting in its lag-free reporting of live events, clearer presentation of collected data, and interactive reporting via use of social media.<br /><br />“About a year ago, we (TV5) started planning for this election coverage. We wanted to improve on the 2010 and 2013 record of TV5 and for PLDT and Smart to provide the access and connectivity to TV5. Most important for TV5 is the data and how that data is reported.
