Instead, UP competed in the Asian Cheerleading and Dancesport Competition.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />“Last year, ‘di sumali yung UP because we were questioning some parts of the rules that were left unanswered. The Sampaloc-based group will try to break the curse as no team has ever won the CDC title performing first. This year, the dogs are diving under the blue ocean water.<br /><br />Meanwhile, the University of the Philippines (UP) Pep Squad, which holds the most number of podium finishes in CDC, returns after their leave of absence last year due to protest.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />UP Pep Squad will take center stage after the performances of De La Salle University (DLSU) Animo squad, Adamson Pep Squad, Far Eastern University (FEU) Cheering Squad and University of the East Pep Squad.<br /><br />University of Santo Tomas Salinggawi Dance Troupe and Ateneo's Blue Babble Battalion will perform next.<br /><br />Aside from UP, the 'Salinggawi' squad is gunning to reclaim their long-lost throne in the UAAP CDC.<br /><br /><b>ORDER OF PERFORMANCES</b><br /><br />1. Upon investigation, Senior Inspector Hercules Trigue, deputy chief for administration of Bago City Police Station said that the approaching 10-wheeler truck swerved on the car’s lane. The driver of the truck Herman Mahometano, 58 lost control of the truck until it fell on its side and hit the car.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />The car was in total wreck and it took 30 minutes for the rescuers to retrieve the bodies. They had to request for a crane from a construction company to move the truck.<br /><br />Trigue added that Mahometano was unharmed but tried to escape. He eventually surrendered and is now detained at the police station.
