PHOTO CREDIT: Inquirer</td></tr></tbody></table>On Tuesday, May 10, Marcos alleged irregularities in the partial and unofficial counting of the votes for the vice-presidential race claiming that the Aquino administration’s plan B is in full swing.<br /><br />Marcos said: “Talagang yung napapag-usapan na Plan B ay mukhang talagang itinutuloy nila dahil iniiipit ang pag-transmit ng ibang mga boto na galing sa balwarte ko parang pinapalabas na nangunguna si Cong. Robredo.”<br /><br />(They are really pushing Plan B and they are preventing the transmission of votes from my stronghold to make it appear that Cong. Robredo is leading.)<br /><br />Earlier, the Ilocano lawmaker revealed Liberal Party’s alleged Plan B to ensure that President Benigno Aquino III will not end up in jail after the National Elections.<br /><br />“The Plan B is to ensure victory for Leni Robredo and remove Duterte via impeachment. In this way, Noynoy [the President’s nickname] and his minions will avoid being jailed,” Marcos revealed in a news conference.<br /><br />Meanwhile, Marcos’ running mate and losing presidential candidate Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago has also accused the administration of “manufacturing numbers” for Robredo.<br /><br /><div id="unruly_placeholder"></div>In a statement sent to reporters, Santiago said: “The roller coaster ride of vice presidential candidate Ferdinand Marcos Jr. invites comparison with a garrison state. In such a state, the authoritarian government feels free to manufacture numbers as they are needed.”<br /><br />Political analyst Jan Robert Go, on the other hand, believes that there is no reason to doubt the vice presidential results if you trust the partial and unofficial presidential tally.<br /><br />Go explained: "When you put in the ballot, it (vote counting machine) reads the same ballot. Sabi hindi ka tatakbo. You’re a big liar. Hindi ka pa pangulo sinungaling ka na! You’re not even the president but you’re already lying. Let’s just have a fistfight.)<br /><br />Apparently, it looks like Labang may have bit off more than he can chew as Duterte is currently set for a big win in the 2016 presidential race. As all of his rivals have conceded, Duterte’s insurmountable lead in the partial and unofficial results of the elections held on May 9 clearly indicates that he will soon become the 16th President President of the Republic of the Philippines.<br /><br />Netizens, who seem to be looking forward to see Labang fulfill his promise, have set up an event on Facebook dubbed as “Libreng Cake Mula kay Chef Jack Labang”. Salvador Panelo, requested a copy of the account balances of the tough talking mayor’s bank accounts from BPI instead of providing a waiver.<br /><br /><b>RELATED STORY</b>: <a href="http://pinoybuzz.blogkorner.com/2016/05/duterte-trillanes-face-off-bpi-julia-vargas.html" rel="nofollow">Trillanes, Duterte lawyer face off at BPI Julia Vargas</a><br /><br />Panelo was authorized by Duterte to open the presidential aspirant’s bank account and provide a bank certification debunking the P211 million hidden wealth allegation against him.<br /><br />"I went to the bank and I had them receive the special power of attorney of Mayor Duterte authorizing me to look into the records of his bank account and to ask the bank for a certification that at no time since the opening of the account has there been P211 million whether singly, collectively, or cumulatively deposited to his name. 'Yun ang hiningi ko sa bangko,” Panelo told GMA News.<br /><br />However, Panelo revealed that BPI asked for 7 days in order to look into their request due to legal issues. This means that the bank account details will be disclosed on May 11, two days after election day if the 7-day period would only include banking days.<br /><br />Panelo added that they did not ask for a transaction history since the issue is the P211 million deposit in Duterte’s bank account. According to him, Duterte’s current balance in the said account is P17,660.<br /><br />In Trillanes’ affidavit, the lawmaker tagged a certain Joseph De Mesa as his source of information on Duterte’s alleged hidden millions. Sal Panelo, Duterte’s lawyer, was authorized to open the presidential candidate’s bank account and issue a bank certification that the presidential aspirant never amassed P211 million.<br /><br />“I have addressed the bank to issue the necessary documents. Based on the records of the bank, walang P211 million sa kanyang deposit mula pa noong ito'y binuksan niya at hanggang ngayon,” Panelo told GMA News.<br /><br />Trillanes, who is currently running for vice president, has alleged the PDP-Laban standard bearer of failing to declare P211 million in his ”secret” BPI accounts at Julia Vargas branch in 2014. Although Duterte agreed to open his bank accounts in order to disprove Trillanes’ claims, he demanded that the senator  execute an affidavit on his accusations as well as name his sources first.<br /><br />Panelo added that Trillanes needs to prove the existence of the money since bank secrecy laws prohibit banks and employees to disclose account details of its clients.<br /><br /><i>“Mayroong batas na nagsasabing hindi puwedeng mag-reveal ang bangko na anumang impormasyon kaugnay sa deposito ng isang kliyente. According to him, the rise in support is likely the result of efforts not just by their campaign teams and candidates but also by volunteers as well as support groups in and out of the country.<br /><br />Still, Duterte’s campaign manager Leoncio “Jun” Evasco said their team will not be self-assured.
