MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced recently the schedule of board examinations for Year 2015 through resolution No. 2014- 874 signed on December 2, 2014 by the new PRC Chairman Dr. Florentino C. Doble and PRC new Commissioner Architect Yolanda D. Reyes.
The resolution includes deadline for filing applications, practical examinations, professional upgrading examinations, Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations (SPLBE) and target dates of release of examination results.
PRC said that the Special Professional Licensure Board Examinations (SPLBE) to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), shall be scheduled in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2011-627 dated October 18, 2011, pursuant to R.A. No. 8981 and Executive Order No. 835.
In the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LET), PRC advised that requests for additional testing centers outside the PRC Regional Offices shall be in accordance with PRC Resolution No. 2012-675 series of 2012 dated August 24, 2012, "Designation of other cities outside PRC Regional Offices as additional testing center for LET."
"Except for the Board Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) and Board Nurses Licensure Examination (NLE), the deadline for the filing of application, together with all the supporting documents, at the Central and regional offices shall NOT be late than twenty (20) days before the first day of examination. If the deadline for the filing of application falls on legal or regular holidays and non-working days, the deadline shall be on the immediate succeeding working day," PRC said.
