His death, according to Rufino, came as a surprise since Deramas fully recovered from the medical procedure.<br /><br />The respected director’s death has shocked the whole nation yet several netizens pointed out that his social media posts are premonitions of his death.<br /><br />A day before his passing, the “Beauty and the Bestie” director wrote a lengthy post on his Facebook account. In the said post, he recounted the death of his mother in 2009 and expressed his gratitude to Rufino, who was celebrating her birthday at that time.
