According to Yabut, he was already in his house in Taytay, Rizal when he realized that Simon had left his phone inside his car. He immediately called Grab and reported the incident. Yabut was even able to talk with Simon on the phone and assured him that he will return his phone.<br /><br />The 30-year-old driver traveled to Kamuning, Quezon City and met up with his passenger. But instead of receiving a “thank you,” Yabut received countless of punches in his face. Simon even asked some of his neighbors to help beat him up. Yabut said, <i>“Noong binubugbog po niya ko, hinila niya po ko doon sa tatlong tao na nandoon, mga nagbabasura po at pinagsisigawan po niya sa mga nandon na magnanakaw daw po ako na pagtulungan ako pero 'di po tumulong sila.”</i><br /><i><br /></i> <br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><center><iframe allowtransparency="true" frameborder="0" height="740" scrolling="no" src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Fkielnigel.yabut%2Fposts%2F481384658923728&width=500" style="border: none; overflow: hidden;" width="500"></iframe></center><br />Police officers came and invited them to the police station but Simon refused. The two instead agreed to settle in the Barangay. <br /><br />In front of the Barangay officials, Yabut was surprised that Simon claimed that the driver tried to steal the phone. Simon defended his actions by saying that he tried to call Yabut a few times but the driver didn’t answer.<br /><br />Yabut was so appalled that the Barangay officials even urged him to admit to something that he didn’t do. He said, “Pagdating sa barangay, pilit po nila akong ano... pinapaamin. Ang gusto mangyari po ng passenger humingi lang daw po ako ng pasensya at makakauwi na ko at mangako lang daw ako na 'di ko daw siya babalikan kinaumagahan dahil sa ginawa niyang pambubugbog.”<br /><br />There have been no official statement from Simon as of to date. The viral post has already been shared almost 48,000 times already.<br /><br /><b>Drivers seek protection </b><br /><br />Several incidents have already been reported about Grab drivers being abused or become victims of violence by their passengers. Last September, a Grab driver named Edgar Luciapao was beaten up by three of his passengers and stole his Mitsubishi Montero. Luciapao was lucky enough to have escaped. <br /><br />One incident that made a huge mark last year the <a rel='nofollow' href="http://pinoybuzz.blogkorner.com/2017/10/grab-driver-shot-dead-carnappers-posing-as-regular-passengers.html">killing of a ‘model’ Grab driver</a> named Gerardo Maquidato Jr. Maquidato was shot in the head by carnappers who posed as passengers. The suspect surrendered to the authorities and claimed he had no intention of killing the driver but “nanlaban po kasi siya.”<br /><br /><b>Grab and Uber push for passenger and rider security </b><br /><br />Following the killing of Maquidato, Transport network companies (TNCs) Grab and Uber had a meeting with Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) to discuss security measures that would protect not just passengers but also their drivers.<br /><br />One of the suggestions by Grab Philippines country head Brian Cu, was the creation of a common database of “blacklisted passengers.”<br /><br />Due to this, several drivers have already started asking for valid IDs from their passengers.<br /><br />Cu stated asked for a mandate that “TNCs to require passengers to update their profile on the respective ride-hailing apps by using Facebook login.”<br /><br />For their part, the LTFRB formed a special technical working group to focus on several directions that would help protect TNC drivers.<br /><br /><b>— The Summit Express</b></div>

It can be recalled that during KZ’s stint in “Your Face Sounds Familiar” in 2015, she even performed as Jessie J.<br /><br />Prior to the start of their competition, KZ met up with her ‘idol’ international star, Jessie J. The two singers shared a heartwarming hug as KZ tried to explain her admiration for the Flashlight star. ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ Movie Review: It All Ends Here

And it has always been the thorn of films based on novel, given that chances are, the majority of people watching the film have also read their source materials. So the best way to cater to it is cleverly cherry pick plot points to include in a two-hour motion picture.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />Unfortunately, while “Freed” was able to pinpoint which narratives they want on the movie, the manner with which they were all slapped together makes it feel disjointed. For some reason, it felt like there was so much happening, but at the same time, it seems like no character progression was happening. The first several minutes of the film felt like just a flurry of images of the newly weds in their honeymoon around Europe. Granted that her relationship with Christian is deeply rooted on love, “Freed” makes her look like a fake heroine. At some point, she insisted on not coming to New York with her husband because of work, but when he whisked her away in a vacation in Colorado after just a couple of days, she didn’t have any objections whatsoever.<br /><br />The same thing happened at work, while she was initially very awkward of her new position and how she actually got it, she later warmed up to the idea that she could actually call his boss by his first name. Johnson has the acting prowess to actually be a charming but strong headed character based on her other work, but her characterization in this film is too corroded to even know what her personality us. <br /><br />Additionally, for an R-rated film supposedly leaning heavy on intimate scenes, the film, much like its predecessors, was nothing but lazy when it comes to filming s*x scenes between the two leads from a creative standpoint. Other than the nud*ty and some curse words, there’s really nothing artistically pushing it to have an Adult rating. <br /><br />Ana and Christian’s making love is a core element of their relationship, and yet, “Freed” cheapened with unpassionate coitus between the two. It also didn’t help that Johnson has already started making inarticulate sounds even before she had contact with Dornan. While the books created a huge fan community, phoning it in, knowing that readers of the books will see it seems to be a bit lazy. And it’s not like Dornan and Johnson are bad actors, both have done great work in other projects. So why does it feel like their main responsibility as lead stars of the film is to look good n*ked first and acting just comes second?<br /><br />The “Fifty Shades” film threequel had a good chance of making something good out of the novels which were frowned upon by many. Folks behind the production could’ve taken the creative liberty to make the films become more thoughtful and better crafted than their source material as a way to send a message to naysayers. Alab hit the double-digit lead, 33-20 with over 6 minutes left in the quarter.<br /><br />In just less than a minute, Alab’s lead was brought down to just 6 as Sam Deguara re-entered the floor and owned the shaded lead.<br /><br />Aside from Deguara’s dominance underneath the basket, misses and turnovers started to pile up for Alab Pilipinas that gave an opportunity for Mono Vampire to tie the game at 38-all with 1:22 left in the half.<br /><br />Filipino-American Jason Brickman ended the 1st half with a floater and for the lead. 40-38 in favor of Mono Vampire Thailand.<br /><br />The Filipinos started the 3rd quarter with an 8-0 scoring blitz courtesy of super imports Justin Brownlee and Renaldo Balkman. But his partner, ex-PBA import, Mike Singletary took over the scoring chores for Mono Vampire and managed to trim the Alab lead to just 1, 60-59 with 2:38 remaining.<br /><br />Former Ateneo Eagle, Oping Sumalinog closed the penultimate quarter with a long bomb for an 8-point, 68-60 Alab Pilipinas lead.<br /><br />Both squads were too quiet as they unfolded the final chapter of the game. While everyone was quiet, Mono Vampire’s heritage import and Filipino Paul Zamar took the chance to showcase his talents and helped his team cut the lead.<br /><br />Thailand totally snapped Alab’s lead at the 5:34 mark. Coach Alapag pushed the panic button and burned another timeout.<br /><br />Just as badly needed, Justin Brownlee launched another outside bomb and a steal to swing the lead back to Alab’s side.<br /><br />Justin Brownlee found the wide-opened Josh Urbiztondo on the right corner for a sure triple and 3-point advantage with less than a minute left. Right after Urbiztondo’s big shot, Mike SIngletary hit a trey of his of own for the equalizer.<br /><br />Alab had 19.2 to make the last shot. Justin Brownlee took the ball and intended to melt the clock.
