There are cases that children got injured or even died after getting crushed and severed by the escalator machineries. The boy, who was obviously not interested in his dad’s business, was fascinated by the fast-moving rubber handrails of the escalator. Amazed by it, the kid had decided to play, placed his left and right hands on the handrail, pulled it back and forth. But lo and behold, the poor boy lost his hand control and was completely overpowered by the force of the escalator. At the end of the video, it looks like the boy was safely recovered as the people around them who hurried towards them in order to see the accident went back where they were.<br /><br />Majority of the netizens who had seen the video, put the blame on the boy’s parents because obviously it’s not a machine error but merely a human error. As guardians, we are always responsible for our children’s safety whether at home or in public places. Yes, there will be security personnel in business establishments and at parks, but leaving our kids all by themselves is really a no-brainer. They’re young, they’re curious almost about anything and we must always anticipate the perils that might come along the way anywhere and anytime. It is not only killer and terrifying escalators that we should be worried about, let us also put in our minds the lawless criminals targeting children for their personal gains.<br /><br />This is not the only incident that a kid got involved in an escalator fiasco. We’ve seen this over and over again, perhaps, hundreds of times online. We should have learned our lessons already. Always keep an eye on our little ones is the best way to prevent misfortunes for we really can’t predict what will happen if we blink our eyes. It really pays to lock sight on our children. It will surely keep them from any harm.<br /><br />Should mishaps like this happen, always get the attention of the crowd especially the marshalls for help. Caitie’s wedding-inspired service complete with stormtroopers, confetti, pink balloons and colorful decorations was her parents Jayjay and Feliz’s way of turning over their daughter to Jesus in marriage. <br /><br />The memorial service led by Christ’s Commission Fellowship Pastor Roy Felipe started at 3pm, while the cremation process happened at  4:00pm at the Arlington Memorial Hall in Quezon City. The “wedding reception” was held at 7:30 pm.<br /><br />In one of the posts in the Facebook page Courageous Caitie, it was written:<br /><br />“We didn’t wait till she was a teenager for our mom and daughter or father and daughter dates. Didn’t wait till she was old enough to attend dance classes etc. We didn’t wait for a wedding to have her ‘dirty dancing’ lift (in a) father-daughter dance. We didn’t wait when she was old enough to travel the world. Thank you Lord for the grace that in 3 years we lived what was like 30 years. Her body was 3 but her soul lived like it was 30 years old in experience, in wisdom and beauty. I love you my daughter… Today we celebrate as we turn you over in marriage.”<br /><br />The little warrior’s ordeal with the rare form of leukemia started after her parents noticed rashes which turned into bruises in December last year. Initially, Caitie was misdiagnosed with tuberculosis last January and underwent a series of medication for it. Unfortunately, her conditioned only worsened.<br /><br />On February, her family brought her to a reputable hospital in Singapore where she was diagnosed with JML. After a three-month battle, <a href="http://pinoybuzz.blogkorner.com/2016/03/courageous-caitie-girl-with-rare-disease-passes-away.html" rel="nofollow">Courageous Caitie succumbed to her disease</a> on Thursday, March 31.<br /><br />Her happy disposition and unbelievable display of courage despite her difficult and painful situation has attracted thousands of followers and donors on her Facebook page. In fact, a netizen shared his Uber driver’s experience with the lawmaker.<br /><br />According to a certain Wado Tan Siman, his Uber driver was the one who drove Robredo to the bus station when she recently went home to Bicol.<br /><br />According to the Uber driver, Robredo opted not to talk about the upcoming elections and her vice presidential candidacy. Photo Credit: Twitter/iambryanbanquil</td></tr></tbody></table>Santiago, laureate of the Ramon Magsaysay Award for government service said the administration must immediately investigate the NAIA-3 incident on Saturday and remove from office those who are found responsible.<br /><br />"The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) seems eager to regain the 'world's worst airport' title which it lost only in 2015, not only for inconveniencing passengers, but for not working as it should," the senator said.<br /><br />The NAIA was the world's worst airport from 2011 to 2013, and the fourth worst in 2014, according to online travel website Guide to Sleeping in Airports, which ranks airports based on comfort, convenience, cleanliness and customer service.<br /><br />Santiago was responding to news that as of Sunday, some 80 domestic flights from NAIA Terminal 3 have been cancelled and another 80 international and<a href="http://pinoybuzz.blogkorner.com/2016/04/in-photos-brownout-hits-naia-terminal-3.html" rel="nofollow"> local flights have been delayed due to the blackout</a>, affecting some 15,000 passengers.<br /><br />The airport administration blamed the outage on a Manila Electric Company (Meralco) supply trip, and claimed that even after Meralco restored power, the NAIA remained without electricity. Meralco has meanwhile denied a power outage.<br /><br />Santiago, for her part, said that the NAIA must have uninterrupted power supply. "Assuming for the sake of argument that the Meralco line tripped, where were the generators? The explanation that they were not working is unacceptable," she added.<br /><br />The infrastructure agenda Santiago posted on her website includes the development of a modern international airport. The NAIA runway design, she said, is one of the main factors for congestion.<br /><br />"The runways are perpendicular to each other, barring planes from using one runway when the other is in use. If NAIA will be expanded, we must build runways parallel to each other," the senator said.<br /><br />"In the meantime, it would be wise to reallocate some flights to the airport in Clark, which is currently underutilized. Meanwhile, ECT exams covered various technical subjects, laws and ethics.<br /><br /><b><i>According to PRC, the target date of release of the recent Electronics Engineering board exam is on Friday, April 8, 2016 or in 3 working days after the exam. We advise examinees to monitor results starting 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 in the evening.</i></b><br /><br />In April 2015 exam, results were released in 3 working days. 892 out of 2,552 passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 1,066 out of 1,483 passed the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.<br /><br />In October 2015, results were also out after 3 days. PRC named 1,784 out of 4,467 who have passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 2,984 out of 3,518 for the Electronics Technician Licensure exams.<br /><br />Aside from the full results, the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2016-2019. He also alleged Mendoza of not performing her duties. <br /><br />"We do not have intentions to interfere with the trouble there but there is a problem, people are getting harassed so we have to help,” Laviña said.<br /><br />About 5,000 farmers coming from different parts of North Cotabato province held a protest  on Wednesday, March 30 to demand government assistance after their farms were hit by the El Niño. Portions of the Cotabato-Davao Highway were blocked during the protest.<br /><br />But instead of getting calamity fund and rice provision, the protest turned into a violent dispersal between policemen and the farmers. The clash resulted into the death of three protesters while 116 others were injured. A farmer reportedly died on the spot during the encounter.<br /><br />According to Apo Sandawa Lumadnong Panaghiusa sa Cotabato leader Norma Capuyan, the police, who were trying to protect the National Food Authority provincial office from the protesters, were trying to disperse them using water cannons. However, when the farmers stood their ground, the police began firing.<br /><br />In an interview with ANC, Mendoza insisted that the police officers had exercised maximum tolerance during the protests.<br /><br />Meanwhile, actor and known Duterte supporter Robin Padilla donated 200 sacks of rice to the farmers. Feliz, during her eulogy, narrated that Caitie’s last words before she left was all about Jesus’ love for her and love for others. They even sang little miss’ favorite kids’ church songs on her death bed and that’s why her parents taught the the crowd Caitie’s favorite songs with matching actions during the memorial service like they were in kids’ church, praising and worshiping.<br /><br />People from different parts of the nation came to see Courageous Caitie for the very last time. The primetime block is the most important part of the day when most Filipinos watch TV and advertisers put a larger chunk of their investment in to reach more consumers effectively.<br /><br />Still topping the list of most watched primetime programs during the previous month is “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” with an average national TV rating of 41.2% followed by “Dolce Amore” with 34.5%. The two leading shows’ rivals, “Little Nanay” and “That’s My Amboy” only had 17.8% and 16.1% respectively. “The Story of Us” and “We Will Survive” meanwhile had 18.8% and 15.2% with their direct competitors, “Because of You” and “Wowowin” only garnered 14.6% and 14.7%.<br /><br />Completing the top ten programs of the month are “Pilipinas Got Talent” at number 2 with a 35% average rating, its fellow weekend fares “MMK” (32.9%) and “Wansapanataym” (29.5%), the only news program in the list “TV Patrol” (28.3%), “Home Sweetie Home” (24.3%), and “Rated K” (23.7%).<br /><br />The company recently reported a 25% surge in its net income in 2015 to earn P2.55 billion, higher than 2014’s P2 billion. He said approval of such measure can still be done since the current 16th Congress still have sessions from May 23 to June 10, 2016.<br /><br />"Kapag nakapag-approve na ang House of Representatives, sasalubungin ko agad sa senado at wala na akong babaguhin aaprubahan ko agad at paaaprubhan ko sa aking mga kasamahan para mabilis," he said.<br /><br />There are two bills in the House of Representatives seeking to postpone the 2016 barangay elections.<br /><br />The Liga ng mga Barangay has been lobbying for a change of the term of officer of barangay captains to 5 years per term and a maximum of 3 consecutive terms. Currently, they have 3 years per term with a maximum of 3 consecutive terms.<br /><br />He said the postponement is necessary to give time for the next Congress to make a thorough study of the proposal.<br /><br />"Tulad ng ginawa namin sa Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) na nagpasa kami ng batas na nag-postponed ng October, 2014 SK eleksiyon. 'Tapos habang walang eleksiyon, trinabaho namin 'yung SK reform hanggang sa naging batas nga itong SK Reform Law," he said.</div>
