PGT hits all-time high TV rating of 43.3% nationwide

You, however, gave a new flavor into it and thank you because introduced and showcased the Filipino culture to our younger audiences,” Angel commented.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />“It’s appealing to the eyes. Your moves were synchronized. The performance proves that you don’t need to do death-defying stunts to entertain us,” Vice voiced.<br /><br />Robin, on the other hand, thought that the act was an answered prayer for him.<br /><br />“This is the first time I saw Filipinos love and embrace their own culture. The word "tutting" is a street dance style based on angular movements which are supposed to stylize the poses seen on reliefs in the art of ancient Egypt, and refers to "King Tut." This time, Vice requested a piece she can dedicate to her grandmothers Carmelita and Veneranda.<br /><br />"Yung una mo na ginawa, medyo hindi maganda. Pero pinagbigyan ka ni Vice and you did excellently," Freddie Garcia told Collado.<br /><br />"Masaya ako kasi eto ang kultura ng Pilipino, and pamilya. Ang mahalaga, buo tayo," Robin Padilla said.<br /><br />"Sa pinakita mo na talento, parang naexperience ko narin kung paano ang pagmamahal ng isang lola sa kanyang apo," emotional Angel Locsin told her.<br /><br />"You also sang for my lola. Kahit umaalog ang mga poste, kalmado parin kayo," judge Angel Locsin expressed.<br /><br />"Wala pa ako nakita na nakita na ganito. Kamangha-mangha ang ginawa ninyo," judge FMG has commented.<br /><br />"Para kayong may military training. Ang galing. Ang ganda tingnan. Sabay-sabay kayo umakyat at bumaba," Vice Ganda said.<br /><br />"You deserved to be called knights. Iba, kalmado kayo. The overly-cute millennial type of love story just does not work with Cuneta and Padilla, not because they do not have any chemistry, but because it’s jarring that these two grown-ups act as if they are in their teens. The dialogs tend to be inappropriate, borderlining cringeworthy. And instead of developing a well-balanced story by highlighting the relationships of all the people across the board, “Unexpectedly Yours” focused its energy too much in making its veterans more like kids dabbling on the idea of first love.<br /><br />While the movie attempts to destigmatize mid-life crisis, it does it in an insensitive way. Patty’s weight and reaching menopausal stage were hammered way too much in the movie, to the point that despite being presented as humorous, it is almost a hurtful insult sugarcoated as a joke. The impact is no way diminished by having her acknowledge the same thing in a self-deprecating way, only made worse by her trying to act seductive all of a sudden. First, Garcia and Barreto once again prove that they have the acting chops to be worthy of being called actors. The two exudes chemistry despite not having much physical interaction. It’s such a shame that they were pushed aside, almost neglected, just to give way to their co-stars’ supposed love story.<br /><br />The second one is the superb dramatic scenes acted out by the cast, especially from Barretto and Cuneta. Their mother-daughter moments stood out in a way that they do not get over-the-top. No loud bawling, no screaming, no unending streaming down of tears, but audience can definitely feel the weight of their emotions just by looking at their faces. <br /><br />It’s hard to come to terms with the fact that despite great potential, “Unexpectedly Yours” misses the mark on several key points when it comes to rom-coms. Truly, it is not because Cuneta and Padilla can no longer work as a love-team given their age. If anything, Richard Gomez and Dawn Zulueta have proved that love stories are just for young adults. FMG even stood up and called for a break to ease the conflict. Kantar Media on the other hand says ABS-CBN's pre-primetime shows "Pasion de Amor" and new teleserye titled "We Will Survive" got more viewers nationwide compared to Wowowin.<br /><br />The TV ratings and gameshow "war" is expected to heat up as the new Kapamilya show will premiere on Monday.<br /><br />"Game ng Bayan" will replace the timeslot of Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal, hosted by Luis Manzano. The latter bid goodbye on Friday after the fifth season with more than 385 episodes and P30 million total prizes.<br /><br />Hosted by the “Idol ng Bayan,” Robin Padilla, with the “Tol ng Bayan,” Alex Gonzaga, the new ABS-CBN game show involves one hundred members of the community who are given a random challenge for a chance to win an identified need of the community such as renovation of daycare centers or basketball courts, light posts, etc.<br /><br />Joining the hosts are “Tropa ng Bayan” composed of Eric Nicolas, MJ Lastimosa and Negi, who will guide contestants to become local heroes in their community.<br /><br />“Game ng Bayan” begins with six individuals from a chosen barangay competing in the “Ang Dami Mong Alam” round, where they will be asked a question with multiple answers. Elimination occurs when a contestant answers incorrectly, when a contestant repeats an answer, and when all possible answers have been exhausted. In this round, only three will remain to move on to the next round, which is “Buksan ang Plato.”<br /><br />In “Buksan ang Plato,” the remaining three contestants will take turns in opening numbered plates and must get three which says “Yehey” under it. In this round, they will be joined by their family or friends to help them make the crucial decision of which plates to open.
