MANILA, Philippines - The Judges Cull round of “Pilipinas Got Talent” (PGT) Season 5 begins on Sunday, March 27 as the judges pick the 32 acts who will advance to the semi-finals of the talent competition.
After the auditions legs held in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, judges Freddie “FMG” Garcia, Angel Locsin, Robin Padilla, and Vice Ganda need to name the semi-finalists out of 132 hopefuls.
Four out of the 36 semi-finals slots have already been filled by Golden Buzzer acts, which include contemporary dancers Power Duo, flair bartending couple Liquid Concepts, dance group Power Impact Dancers, and body contortionist Mark Dune Basmayor.
Apparently, the Judges Cull was filled with tention among the judges due to heated arguments. FMG even stood up and called for a break to ease the conflict. Vice, meanwhile, seemed to be displeased by the debate.
