Lopez is also prohibited from applying and reacquiring license for the next 2 years at least. Along with the revocation, the former beauty queen is also being fines for the following traffic violation: Anti-Distracted Driving Act, Disregarding Traffic Sign and Reckless Driving amounting to Php8,000.<br /><br />Maria Isabel Lopez was summoned by the LTO on November 13 with the recommendation of Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) after removing the traffic barriers and cruising the ASEAN Lanes designated for VIPs, Diplomats and Dignitaries to avoid the gridlock.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />Lopez admitted that she was at clearly at fault but insisted that she only followed the lead of other motorists who were ahead of her. According to Catalino Uy, Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) OIC: “It can halt and derail traffic management and may put at risk both the summit delegates and the traffic violators themselves.”<br /><br />Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Spokesperson Celine Pialago clarified that what Lopez did is a clear breach of security. The actress’ post reached the office of MMDA and its spokesperson, Celine Pialago emphasized that it is a clear breach of security while LTFRB board member Aileen Lizada stated that Lopez is not a good role model.<br /><div id="unruly-unit"></div><br />Metro Manila Development Authority spokesperson Celine Pialgo suggests to the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to suspend Maria Isabel Lopez’ driver’s license as a sanction to the former beauty queen’s ill-deed.<br /><br /><blockquote class="tr_bq"><i>“It's a serious breach of security. MMDA and LTFRB will now recommend to the LTO the suspension or cancellation of the driver's license of Ma. The actress also apologized to the people who got affected by what she did.<br /><br /><b>Tight security for ASEAN Summit</b><br /><br />The country’s government officials are once again busy bees as the heads of South East Asian countries are set to arrive this weekend for the ASEAN Summit 2017. Aside from the ASEAN leaders, three of the most powerful politicians in world are in town as well. US President Donald Trump, Canada Prime Mister Justin Trudeau and Australia Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull will all be here to join their ASEAN counterparts for the summit.<br /><br />Part of the government’s preparation is to provide an impeccable security in the metro to prevent any inconvenience and threat while the high-end event is being done. As clarified, suspension of work in government and private offices in NCR will come from the Malacañang.<br /><br />It can be recalled that commuters in Metro Manila were stranded and have to endure long walks to get to work in the 2015 APEC summit.<br /><br />The Task Force MMDA-ASEAN is currentlt doing a dry run with some of the affected roads include Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway, North and South Luzon Expressways (NLEX and SLEX) and EDSA.<br /><br /><b>Trump to visit PH in November</b><br /><br />Presidential Spokesperson Ernie Abella said US President Donald Trump will visit the country this November for the ASEAN Summit week. Trump's visit underscores the improving PH-US ties and President Rodrigo Duterte is looking forward to welcome the US President in Manila.<br /><br />The Philippines’ year-long and third ASEAN Chairmanship coincides with the regional bloc’s 50th founding anniversary. It will be held together with ASEAN dialogue partners Australia, Canada, China, the European union, India, Japan, New Zealand, Russia, South Korea and the United States.</div>

"Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" took home P436 million, while “Pagpag: Siyam Na Buhay” made P182.75 million.<br /><br />In a separate report from Metro Manila Development Authority chairman Francis Tolentino, he said that the 8 entries in the 2014 MMFF already earned a total of P1.014 billion at the box office as of January 7. The figure was a 2.6 % increase from the previous year.<br /><br />It means that 'Praybeyt Benjamin' and 'Feng Shui 2' share on the total receipt is more than 60 percent.
