MANILA, Philippines - The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) released result of October 2017 promotional examinations, which include the list of passers for Senior Police Officer (SPO) exams, expected anytime this January 2018.
The second NAPOLCOM exam last year was administered on October 22, in several testing centers nationwide.
NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao said 14,311 hopefuls (32.52%) tried to hurdle the promotional test categories.
The exam also covers qualifications for Police Officer 1, 2 and 3; Police Inspector (for Inspector and Senior Inspector); and Police Superintendent (for Chief Inspector and Superintendent).

The three-hour entrance examination consists of general information, police administration and operations, and police customs and tradition/values and ethical standards.
Promotional Examinations are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.
Aside from the Promotional exams, the commission also conducted entrance tests for the aspiring cops.
Takers may also check the list of successful examinees at the NAPOLCOM central office located at the DILG-NAPOLCOM Center, NAPOLCOM Bldg., Edsa Corner Quezon Avenue, West Triangle, Quezon City, and at the NAPOLCOM website at www.napolcom.gov.ph.
Individual reports of rating will be mailed to all examinees. Verification of test results will be entertained at the NAPOLCOM central office and its regional offices nationwide.
