MANILA, Philippines - The week-long presentation for It’s Showtime eighth (8th) anniversary continues with Magpasikat 2017 performance of Team Vice Ganda with Jugs Jugueta and Teddy Corpuz on Tuesday, October 17.
Teddy-Jugs-Vice’s performance began with a short skit about “Tunay na Pag-ibig,” where an old Teddy was telling his grandchildren a love story. Jugs on the piano, he sang Depeche Mode’s Somebody to set the mood.
Vice Ganda also sang an OPM “Anong Nangyari Sa Ating Dalawa” in a “suit-gown.” This time his rants about love were very heartwarming and encouraged everyone to be inspired by love. Much to everyone’s entertainment, he also quoted Karen Davila by saying, “hindi ka maubusan ng jowa hangga’t may puhunan.” He also a presented a powerful reverse poetry about love and his hugots.
But everyone was surprised when the Rocksteddy frontman sang “Magpakailanman” and bent down on one knee to propose to his partner for 11 years, Jasmine. They even had a pastor to officiate the real wedding rites in front of the entire madlang people. With tears, they shared their wedding vows.
