Those awaiting results of October 2016 Electronics Engineer (ECE) and Electronics Technician (ECT) board exam can find here the full list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electronics Engineering (BEE) released results in few working days after the tests.
PRC administered the second licensure exam for Electronics Engineering this year on October 15 and 16 (ECE) and October 17 (ECT) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Lucena.
The members of the Board of Electronics Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Alnar L. Detalla, Chairman, Engr. Enrico Claro R. Delmoro and Engr. Herminio J. Orbe, Members.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION
The October 2016 ECE board exam covered the following subjects: mathematics and electronics engineering, general engineering and applied sciences (GEAS) and electronics systems and technologies (EST).
Meanwhile, ECT exams covered various technical subjects, laws and ethics.
ECE BOARD EXAM RESULTS RELEASE DATE
According to PRC, the target date of release of results of the recent Electronics Engineering board exam is on Thursday, October 20 or in 3 working days after the last day of exam. We advise examinees to monitor announcement of results between 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
In April 2016 exam, results were released after 3 working days. PRC named a total of 917 out of 2,482 who have passed the Electronics Engineer Licensure Examination and 985 out of 1,196 passers of the Electronics Technician Licensure Examination.
In October 2015, results were also announced after 3 days. A total of 1,784 out of 4,467 passed the ECE exam while 2,984 out of 3,518 successfully hurdled the ECT tests.
TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS
As per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010, University of the Philippines (UP)-Diliman topped the April 2016 ECE board exam as the school got 90.48-percent passing rate or 19 out of 21 passed the examination. Meanwhile, Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT), Adamson University and technological Institute of the Philippines (TIP)-Manila were named as the top performing schools for ECT.
In the same period last year, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the schools for ECE with 86.96%. DLSU-Lipa, Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) - Sta. Mesa and Southern Luzon State University (SLSU)-Lucban are among the top performing schools for ECT.

REGISTRATION OF NEW ECEs, ECTs
For the new electronics engineers, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.
