Those awaiting results of September 2016 Librarian board exam can find here the alphabetical list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing school and performance of schools as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Librarians released results in 2-3 working days after the exam.

PRC has conducted the Librarian board exam on September 20 and 21 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legaspi.

The members of the Board for Librarians who gave the licensure examination are Yolanda C. Granda, Chairman; Lourdes T. David and Agnes F. Manlangit, Members.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The two-day examinations covered the following subjects: library organization and management, reference, bibliography, and user services, indexing and abstracting (Day 1); cataloging and classification, selection and acquisition and information technology (Day 2).

PROBABLE RELEASE DATE OF EXAM RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 2015- 948 titled "Schedule of Licensure Examinations for Year 2016," the target release date of Librarian board exam results is on Monday, September 26 or in 3 working days after the exam.

In April 2015 exams, results were also released after 3 working days. A total of 349 out of 742 passed the Librarian Licensure Examination.

TOP PERFORMING SCHOOLS

PRC has named University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman and University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the top performing schools for April 2015 exams.
