MANILA, Philippines - American with Pinoy heart Ryan Gallagher captivated the hearts of Filipinos as he sang Martin Nievera's "Kahit Isang Saglit" during the premiere episode of ABS-CBN's Filipino reality music competition "I Love OPM" on Saturday, February 13, 2016.
The 27-year old singer from Grand Rapids, Michigan impressed the judges called "Himig-gration Officers" on his heartfelt rendition.
Judge Toni Gonzaga and Martin Rivera gave Ryan an approved rating while Misalucha imposed a denied rating. As he got 2 votes, he will continue his journey on 'I Love OPM' competition.

Hosted by Anne Curtis and comedian Eric Nicolas, "I Love OPM" airs every Saturdays after "Maalala Mo Kaya." The contest will shine the spotlight on foreigners who can fluently sing local songs.
Meet Ryan Gallagher
In an interview with Ricky Lo, Ryan told him he has experience in singing to the large audience as he passed audition to backup Josh Groban on You Raise Me Up before an 11,000-strong audience at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids in 2005.
Ryan performed with American Idol winner Carrie Underwood and Misalucha (touted as “The Las Vegas Diva”) on Voices Tour.
Ryan started to perform in the Philippine stage in 2013 for the Atlantis Productions’ The Addams Family as he played a major role.
The Atlantis Productions guys spotted Ryan when he performed The Prayer with Lea Salonga in the HELP!, a Red Cross benefit concert for typhoon victims.
