The members of the Board of Accountancy (PRBoA) are Joel L. Tan-Torres, Chairman; Betty C. Siy-Yap, Vice Chairman; Eliseo A. Aurellado and Gerard B. Sanvictores, Members.<br /><br />CPA Board exam covers the following subjects: theory of accounts and auditing theory (Day 1), management services and practical accounting problems I (Day 2), auditing problem and practical accounting problems II (Day 3) and business law and taxation ( Day 4).<br /><br /><b>Based on PRC Resolution No. 2014-874, the target release date of CPA board exam results is on Thursday, May 21, 2015 or in 3 working days after the last day of exam.</b><br /><br />In July 2014 examination, results were released in three (3) working days after the last day of examination. A total of 1,107 out of 5,540 passed the board examination. De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila was named top performing school with 90.67 percent passing rate.<br /><br />In October 2014 CPA licensure exams, PRC also announced results in 3 working days. PRC named 4,123 out of 11,137 examinees who have passed the exam. University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman and University of Saint Louis - Tuguegarao (USLT) topped the schools with 100 and 86. 76 percent passing rate respectively.<br /><br />Aside from the full results, PRC will also announce the registration schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. Those who will register are expected to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2015-2018.<br /><br />PRC said: "A Certified Public Accountant shall be considered in the practice of his profession, if the nature and character of his employment whether as an officer or employee in a private enterprise or educational institution involves decision-making requiring professional knowledge in the science of accounting or when he represents his private employer before any government agency on tax matters related to accounting, and such employment or position requires that the holder thereof must be a Certified Public Accountant; or if he holds or is appointed to a position in the accounting occupational group in the government or in government-owned or controlled corporations, including those performing proprietary functions, where a civil service eligibility as a Certified Public Accountant is a prerequisite."<br /><br />TheSummitExpress will update this page for the complete results once out online. Ofelia V. Bulaong, Chairman; Engr. Francisco A. Arellano and Engr. Jeffrey G. Mijares, Members.<br /><br />Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on May 25 & 26, 2015. Orlando Johnson scored big time once again, this time, just two shots short compared to his first game record: 46 points of Gins’ 91 point loss against the heavy weight. Johnson improved his previous score with 47 and another almost 50-point game for the young shooting guard. <br /><br />Johnson hit his lowest output of only 30 points and his team’s third loss against Marcus Douthit and Blackwater Elite, 83-77 yesterday, May 16 at Dipolog Sports Complex.<br /><br />Was his 30 points bad? No, not at all. It was an excellent performance from Johnson. Ginebra locals just need to step-up and help their import in scoring to improve their record.<br /><br />There is no doubt, this young man has all the tools and skills to take his team farther. He is really explosive. He can score anytime he wants in all sides of the floor. He can shoot from down town. He can slash and drive. He has hang time. He’s shifty. I can compare him to a healthy Derrick Rose in fact. <br /><br />Many say he’s a ball hog that’s why he gets big points. Yes he is! Because that’s what he signed-up for. That’s what an import should do, to score, get rebounds, to score and to score. Ball hogging should not be an issue considering the conference is too short and in case of ties on the standings, there will be no playoffs, everything will be based on quotient system. The team who scored more advances.<br /><br />Orlando Johnson is doing his very best to help his team out. What’s missing is support from the locals. Too bad that Ginebra is currently being plagued by injuries. They are just missing the services of their key players. Imagine if Ginebra has a healthy line-up. Their import will be totally fearless in taking shots, minding that his big men are all on standby for the boards and can give him ample space under the rim.<br /><br />If Ginebra continue to lose, will they replace Johnson? I don’t see Coach Frankie replacing him. The conference is short and he can’t afford to lose a prolific import who has now adjusted well with his game plays and teammates. <br /><br />What else can Coach Lim do to win? Push his locals. That’s it. If he can threat his players to get traded, the better. Just like what San Miguel Beermen Coach Leo Austria did to his team. Because of the trade threats to SMB players, they are now on the winning streak with 2-2 record. They just blew Globalport Batang Pier out, 124-102 as of press time. For SMB locals, they stepped-up. Marcio Lassiter who was rumored to be shipped to Gin Kings after Coach Austria’s trade threat scored 26 points along with AZ Reid’s 41 for the very convincing win.<br /><br />Who knows? The second and a third season aired back to back in 2011 while the fourth season premiered on February 16, 2013. Winners of the talent competition include Jovit Baldivino, Marcelito Pomoy, the Maasinhon Trio, and Roel Manlangit. All four are singing acts. The winner of each season received ₱2,000,000.<br /><br />Previous seasons of Pilipinas Got Talent franchise were hosted by Billy Crawford and Luis Manzano. In the new season, ABS-CBN is yet to confirm if the two will host the show and the possible changes on the line up of judges. Previous editions judges include actress and movie queen Kris Aquino, former ABS-CBN President and COO Freddie M. Garcia and Comedy Queen Ai-Ai delas Alas.
