BREAKING NEWS: FlyDubai plane crashes in Russia; 61 aboard dead - report

The accident occurred in Rostov on Don at approximately 00:50 GMT.<br />"We are aware of an incident involving our flight FZ981 from Dubai to Rostov On Don. We are investigating further details and will publish an update once more information is available," Fly Dubai airliner said in a statement on Facebook.<br /><br />Here's the latest statement from <a href="https://www.facebook.com/flydubai/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">flydubai</a>:<br /><br /><i>"flydubai regrets to confirm that flight FZ981 crashed on landing and that fatalities have been confirmed as a result of this tragic accident. The aircraft departed from Dubai International (DXB) at 18:20 GMT bound for Rostov on Don (ROV). The accident occurred in Rostov on Don at approximately 00:50 GMT.<br /><br />We are doing all we can to gather information as quickly as possible. At this moment our thoughts and prayers are with our passengers and our crew who were on board the aircraft.<br /><br /><br />We will do everything we can to help those who have been affected by this accident.<br /><br />We are putting our emergency response in place and we will be working closely with all the authorities involved. Those who were rescued including two children were put in dinghies and taken to the shore.<br /><br />Some were then loaded on stretchers and all 17 rescued have been taken to hospital, reports said. <br /><br />The accident happened just before 11:00 am (0300 GMT), a few minutes after the plane took off from Taipei's Songshan airport en route to the island of Kinmen.<br /><br />In July last year 48 people died when a TransAsia Airways plane crashed amid stormy weather in Taiwan's Penghu archipelago.<br /><br /><div style="text-align: left;"><i><span style="font-size: x-small;">Reports and images courtesy of AP.</span></i></div></div>

Joshua telling his church members to pray for the nation of Indonesia, describing "a situation which will cost a lot of lives, suddenly".<br /><br />These were his words: "I have a message for the nation, Indonesia. This country, Indonesia - I don’t know what is happening. They should pray for Indonesia. That is, the nation Indonesia. When it comes to this disaster issue, I don’t want to mention it. It looks so nasty to me to mention - a situation where it will cost a lot of lives, suddenly. This is a crash. Why should this continue to happen there? I think there is a nature - a geographical atmosphere. There is something there that they should look into.”<br /><br />Early in the morning on Sunday, December 28, 2014, an AirAsia passenger jet (Flight 8501) carrying 162 people lost contact with Indonesian air traffic control. A development on search operations happened on Tuesday as search officials said the debris found in the Java Sea off the Indonesian part of Borneo is from the missing plane.
