However, the magnitude-7.8 quake last month- which killed more than 8,000 people -- was more than three times bigger and 5.6 times stronger, in terms of energy released, according to the agency.<br /><br /><br /><b>Latest Nepal Earthquake triggers panic</b><br /><br />In the middle of the day, Nepal's capital Kathmandu and other cities was shocked once again of the earthquake nightmare.<br /><br />At Kathmandu's airport, Channel NewsAsia reporter Jack Board has shared video of hundreds of people running of out of the building as the ground rumbled.<br /><br /><center><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><div dir="ltr" lang="en">Hundreds of people running of out of Kathmandu airport. The preliminary location, size and focal mechanism of the April 25 earthquake are consistent with its occurrence on the main subduction thrust interface between the India and Eurasia plates," USGS said.<br /><br />USGS added that at least 15 aftershocks of magnitude 4.5 or greater had been felt in Nepal so far.<br /><br />The force of the quake was said by people who contacted the USGS to be from "severe" to "violent," nearly the highest rating on the intensity scale.<br /><br /><center><blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en">"It was very scary. Everest, Jessica Ann Nicole F. Ramirez and Jose Francisco C.  Oracion are now safe.
