"You can view your USTET results starting January 28, 2018. "You may download and print your results for presentation purposes during the Confirmation of Enrollment." Admission in UST is based on applicant's high school academic performance (40 percent of the applicant’s total score) with the remaining 60 percent will come from USTET results. Payment of reservation fee for qualified applicants is from January 29 to February 9, 2018. "Please check dates indicated in your USTET results." Confirmation of slot and schedule of application are done through the university's website, and failure to confirm slot may result in the cancellation of admission to the campus. The entrance exam in PUP, conducted annually screens high school student or a high school graduate whose academic performance is above-average and has a good moral character. Those who are qualified in the PUP College Entrance Test (PUPCET) based on the cut-off score for the upcoming school year are the following: graduating high school students of the current year with a General Average of at least 82% or higher in first three (3) years in high school or High school graduates with General Weighted Average of 82% or higher in the first three (3) years in high school and with a General Average of 82% in the Fourth Year and and have not enrolled in any diploma/degree program immediately after high school graduation. The country's first polytechnic and largest university is using PUP iApply website for the application. An applicant is only allowed to apply and take the PUPCET in one campus and only once in an academic year. The remaining 60 percent will come from USTET results. To avoid problems in the release of USTET results, UST advised takers to forward the complete set of documents to the OFAD personally or through any courier service. The premier university also said that passing the USTET is not the sole basis for admission to some strands (freshmen). A second screening is required by the Conservatory of Music in the form of an audition and an artwork rendition for the College of Architecture. For AY 2016-2017, the target release date of results is late by several weeks as compared to the previous years. For this year USTET results, it is also expected that the complete list of passers will be posted at the UST campus after a day the results were released online. Since last year exam, OFAD has improved the procedures as they implemented the barcode system. Unlike the traditional shading or blackening of applicant numbers, there is now a necessary control number assigned to an applicant that corresponds to his or her own barcoded answer sheet. UST said that high school grades are required before taking USTET, 40 percent of the applicant’s total score will be based on his/her high school academic performance. The remaining 60 percent will come from USTET results. The premier university also said that passing the USTET is not the sole basis for admission to some colleges. A second screening is required by the College of Nursing and the College of Tourism & Hospitality Management in the form of an interview, the Conservatory of Music requires an audition, the College of Architecture and the College of Fine Arts & Design require an artwork rendition. For AY 2015-2016, the target release date of results is the same on previous years. For this year USTET results, it is also expected that the complete list of passers will be posted at the UST campus after a day the results were released online.
