'The Pirate Bay' is back online after 7 months of downtime

Meanwhile, a report from TorrentFreak said there may be some mutiny between former and current staff members, with some even planning to launch another version of the site.<br /><br />Currently, the website is uploading numerous videos, applications and other stuffs to cope up from its long outage.<br /><br />TPB has its headquarter in Nacka station, a nuclear-proof data center built into a mountain complex near Stockholm. <br /><br />The site is very popular online mostly for entertainment purposes, where visitors can search, download and contribute magnet links and torrent files, which facilitate peer-to-peer file sharing among users of the BitTorrent protocol. <br /><br />The organization was launched in Sweden in 2003; and in 2009, the website's founders "anakata" and "TiAMO" were found guilty in Sweden for assisting in copyright infringement. </div>
