MANILA, Philippines - Franco Hernandez, “It’s Showtime” boy group Hashtags member, tragically died in a drowning accident while aboard a motorized banca in Davao Occidental on Saturday, November 11. His death was confirmed by his talent agency, Cornerstone Entertainment to MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN.
Hashtags Franco was on his way to coast of North Lamidan, Don Marcelino town along with his girlfriend and another member of the Hashtags aboard a motorized banca. Reports said a huge wave hit their banca and capsized it and they all fell off board.
Franco was already unconscious when his body was recovered. He was sent to the nearby clinic in the neighboring town of Mintal. Sadly, he was already pronounced dead on arrival.
Last June this year, Franco celebrated his 21st birthday on It’s Showtime.
