MANILA, Philippines - Sexy star and social media personality Mocha Uson is once again embroiled in a new controversy after a post on her Facebook page earned the ire of netizens.
A well-known follower of President Rodrigo Duterte, Uson is known for expressing her support to the country’s first leader from Mindanao through her Facebook page Mocha Uson Blog. Moreover, Uson is also known for criticizing Liberal Party’s Roxas-Robredo tandem in many of her posts in the said Facebook page.
On Friday, July 1, Uson’s post about netizen’s reactions on Duterte and Vice President Leni Robredo’s inaugural speech via FB live streaming earned negative reactions. Netizens accused Uson of spreading hate vibes after posting a photo that shows Duterte’s live streaming video got likes and heart emoticons, while Robredo’s video received angry emoticons.
Uson’s post, which has amassed almost 7,000 shares as of this writing, has quickly become a trending topic on social media particularly on Twitter.

In defense, Uson said she was only airing the sentiments of Filipino Facebook users and her post wasn’t meant to bash Robredo.
“Kailangang lang mailabas ang katotohanan. Dahil sa mainstream media hindi lumalabas ang totoo. Dito lang sa FB nalalaman ang totoong damdamin ng Pilipino at kung pipigilan pa natin paano na malalaman ang katotohanan?” she wrote in her post.
