The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced on Thursday that 2,245 out of 5,882 (38.17%) passed the Civil Engineer Licensure Examination given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban and Zamboanga this May 2016.

PRC recognized De La Salle University (DLSU)-Manila as the lone top performing school in the recent Civil Engineer board exam per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. DLSU-Manila got 80.68-percent passing or 71 out of 88 examinees successfully hurdled the tests.
Meanwhile, Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT)-Manila graduate Luvincci del Rosario Tan topped the board with 93.70-percent grade.
The performance of schools in the May 2016 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:
