Those awaiting results of April 2016 Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) and Registered Master Electricians (RME) board exam can find here the full list of passers, top 10 (topnotchers), top performing schools and performance of schools as the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board of Electrical Engineering released results in few working days after the exam.
The first Electrical Engineer board exam this year was administered on April 10 and 11 (REE) and April 12 (RME) in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi and Lucena.
The members of the Board of Electrical Engineering who gave the licensure examinations are Engr. Francis V. Mapile, Officer-In-Charge and Engr. Jaime V. Mendoza, Member.

The two-day exam for REE covered the following subjects: mathematics, engineering sciences and allied subjects (Day 1) and electrical engineering professional subjects (Day 2). For RME exams, it covered technical subjects ( i.e. basic electricity, test equipment and electrical measurements) and Philippine Electrical Code.
The passing general weighted average rating is seventy percent (70%) with no grade below fifty percent (50%) in any subject.
According to PRC, the target release date of April 2016 Electrical Engineer board exam is on Friday, April 15 or in 3 working days after the test.
In April 2015 exams, results were released in just 2 working days. PRC named 884 out of 1,886 Registered Electrical Engineers and 1,134 out of 2,705 Registered Master Electricians who have successfully passed the the Electrical Engineer Licensure Examinations.
In September 2015 exam, PRC announced results in 3 working days. 2,536 out of 3,772 Registered Electrical Engineers and 1,886 out of 2,993 Registered Master Electricians successfully passed tests.
We advise examinees to monitor results starting Thursday, April 14.
Note: Starting April 13, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
