The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced today, November 30, 2015 that 21,461 elementary teachers out of 68,442 examinees (31.36%) and 34,010 secondary teachers out of 81,463 examinees (41.75%) passed the LET.
PRC named University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the top performing school in the September 2015 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) Elementary level as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010. UST got 96.21% or 127 out of 132 passed the exam.
For the secondary level, UST took the lead in top performing schools list for having 94.92% (168 out of 177 passed).
