NAPOLCOM online application form OLEASS for April 2018 Promotional Exam

MANILA, Philippines - The National Police Commission (NAPOLCOM) opens Monday, February 5, 2018 the Online Exam Application Scheduling System (OLEASS) for the applicans of April 22, 2018 (Sunday) Promotional examinations - Police Officer category.

Meanwhile, OLEASS for Senior Police Officer (SPO), Inspector and Superintendent examinations shall be activated on February 12.

NAPOLCOM advised applicants to use OLEASS to request the Regional Office for their schedule on the filing of examination application. Applicants should personally appear at the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the date assigned to them, with their printed on-line confirmation letter and other required documents, for further evaluation.

“To expedite the processing of exam applications, the NAPOLCOM shall start implementing the enhanced OLEASS which now has features for on-line filling up, submission and printing out of an electronic exam application form,” NAPOLCOM Vice-Chairman and Executive Officer Atty. Rogelio T. Casurao said.

The PNP Promotional exams are open exclusively to all qualified uniformed members of the PNP who meet the minimum qualification standards for examination in terms of rank and eligibility.

EXAMINATION SCHEDULE: APRIL 22, 2018

PERIOD OF ONLINE APPLICATION SCHEDULING

Police Officer Exam: February 5 - 9, 2018 (the system will be available at 12NN February 5, 2018 onwards)

SPO, INSP and SUPT Exam: February 12 - 16, 2018 (the system will be available at 12NN February 12, 2018 onwards)

NOTE: Acceptance of applications shall be on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis and, upon due notice, may be stopped even ahead of the deadline.

STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE

1. Access these links: www.napolcom.gov.ph | www.napolcom-oleass.gov.ph
2. Fill out the mandatory form and click SUBMIT.
3. Print out the online Schedule Confirmation.
4. Check your e-mail account and access the link for the Application Form. Fill in all the required details, click SUBMIT and PRINT OUT a hard copy.
5. Bring printouts of the Schedule Confirmation and filled-out Application Form to the NAPOLCOM Regional Office on the scheduled date for filing of the examination application.

NOTE: Only applicants with printed confirmation letter and filled-out electronic exam application form shall be entertained at the NAPOLCOM Regional Offices during their scheduled appointment date. The period of filing of application is from February 19 to March 19, 2018.

Examination fee is P 400 for the Police Officer exams; P450 for Senior Police Officer exam; P500 for Police Inspector exam; and P600 for Police Superintendent exam.

TEST CENTERS

NAPOLCOM exam will be administered in all regions nationwide.

Test center shall be automatically assigned by the computer system based on home address or unit assignment address provided by the police applicant.

MANILA, Philippines - There will be no classes and work in selected areas for the specific dates of February 2018 (5, 8, 9, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 26) to give way for the celebration of local events, Malacañang Palace declared.

Local holidays (Proclamations 407 to 412) were announced by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte through Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea. These include areas of Godod, Zamboanga del Norte; Kidapawan, Province of Cotabato; Parañaque City; Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay; Bago City, Province of Negros Occidental and City of Zamboanga.

Proclamation No. 407: Special non-working holiday in the municipality of Godod, Zamboanga del Norte on Thursday, February 8, 2018 for the celebration of founding anniversary.

Proclamation No. 408: Special non-working holiday in the City of Kidapawan, Province of Cotabato on Monday, February 12, 2018 for its 20th Founding Anniversary.

Proclamation No. 409: Special non-working holiday in Parañaque City on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 for the celebration of 20th cityhood anniversary.

Proclamation No. 410: Special non-working holiday in the municipality of Kabasalan, Zamboanga Sibugay on Saturday, February 17 for the 81st Founding Anniversary.

Proclamation No. 411: Special non-working holiday in the City of Bago, Province of Negros Occidental on Monday, February 19, for the the celebration of its 52nd Charter Anniversary.

Proclamation No. 412: Special non-working holiday in the City of Zamboanga on Monday, February 26 for the celebration of 81st Charter Anniversary.

RA 8814: February 9 of every year is hereby designated as a special working holiday in the City of Mandaluyong, in recognition and commemoration of the city's liberation from foreign occupying forces.

RA 9428: February 14 of every year a special working holiday in the City of Valenzuela to be known as "Araw ng Lungsod ng Valenzuela."

Proclamation No. 269 declares February 16, 2018 (Friday) and February 25, 2018 (Sunday) special non-working holidays nationwide for the celebration of Chinese New Year and EDSA Revolution Anniversary, respectively.

According to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE): "For work performed, an employee is entitled only to his basic rate. No premium pay is required since work performed on said days is considered work on ordinary working days."

Malacañang Palace said that it is proper that the people on the said areas be given full opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies.

For the special non-working holiday in the locality, workers who report for work get 1.3 times their daily rate. Those who do not work on the day, meanwhile, get no pay.
