FULL RESULTS: November 2017 Chemical Engineer ChemEng board exam passers list, top 10

MANILA, Philippines - The November 2017 Chemical Engineer (ChemEng) board exam official results including the complete list of passers, topnotchers (top 10), top performing schools and performance of schools are expected to be released on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 or in two (2) working days after the last day of examinations.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) conducted the Chemical Engineer licensure exam in the cities of Manila and Cebu on November 18, 19 and 20, 2017.

The members of the Board of Chemical Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong, Chairman; Engr. Jeffrey G. Mijares and Engr. Cyd P. Aguilera, Members.

REGISTRATION AND OATHTAKING

Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following:
  • Notice of admission
  • duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal
  • 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag)
  • 2 sets of documentary stamps

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

VERIFICATION OF RATINGS

ChemEng board exam's verification of ratings (passers, non-passers and removal) can be done online.

Visit PRC's "Verification of Rating" service and enter the required information to verify your identity. Note that this will be available in few working days after the release of results.

COVERAGE OF EXAMINATION

The three-day examination covered the following major subjects: physical and chemical principles, chemical engineering principles and general engineering, ethics and contracts.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

According to PRC Resolution No. 2016-1019, the target release of results for the recent ChemEng board exam is on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 or in two (2) working days after the exam.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In the May 2017 Chemical Engineer board exam, results were released in two (2) working days. A total of 310 out of 561 passed the exams. De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila topped the schools with 94.12% (32 out of 34 passed). Wayne Lorenz Bagano Tandingan from the University of San Carlos (USC) aced the board with 85.20%.

In the November 2016 exams, results were also out in just 2 working days. PRC named 534 out of 918 who have passed the series of tests. University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) hailed as the top performing school. DLSU-Manila alum Clarence Joseph Uy Co topped the board with 85.50%.

September 2017 LET Secondary board exam result: performance of schools

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) named the top performing schools in the September 2017 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) also known as Teachers board exam for Secondary level. Result is expected to be released on November 27-28 or in 39-40 working days after the exam.

PRC conducted the September 24, 2017 LET simultaneously in at least 27 testing centers in the country and in Hong Kong and Bangkok (Special Professional Licensure Examination or SPLE).

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

PRC hailed University of the Philippines - Diliman (UPD) as the top performing school in the September 2016 LET Secondary level, 96.84% or 92 out of 95 passed the exams. It was followed by De La Salle University (DLSU) - Lipa with 91.38% or 53 out of 58 passed.

In the September 2015 exams, UST topped the schools with 94.92% (168 out of 177). Philippine Normal University (PNU) - Manila ranked second with 91.79% or 660 out of 719 passed.

PERFORMANCE OF SCHOOLS: September 2017 LET Elementary board exam result

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) hailed the top performing schools in the September 2017 Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) also known as Teachers board exam for Elementary level. The result is expected to be released on November 27-28 or in 39-40 working days after the exam.

PRC conducted the second LET board exam this year on Sunday, September 24, 2017 in at least 27 testing centers in the country and in Hong Kong and Bangkok (Special Professional Licensure Examination or SPLE).

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

PRC hailed University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the top performing school in the September 2016 LET for Elementary level, 97.79% or 133 out of 136 passed the exams. It was followed by Bohol Island State University (BISU) with 91.89% or 68 out of 74 passed.

In the September 2015 exams, UST also topped the schools with 96.21% (127 out of 132). Philippine Normal University (PNU) - Manila ranked second with 95.16% or 177 out of 186 passed.

It is expected that more than 100,000 graduates of Education course took the licensure exam in 27 different testing centers nationwide: Baguio, Bacolod, Cagayan de Oro (CDO), Catarman (Northern Samar), Cebu, Davao, General Santos, Iloilo, Laoag, Legaspi, Lucena, Manila, Rosales (Pangasinan), Tacloban, Tuguegarao, Pagadian, Zamboanga, Mamburao, Occidental Mindoro; Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro; Odiongan, Romblon; Kidapawan Cotabato, Boac, Marinduque; Virac, Catanduanes; Puerto Princesa City, Palawaan and Masbate City and Hong Kong and Bangkok (Special Professional Licensure Examination or SPLE).

PREVIOUS EXAMINATIONS

In September 2015 LET, there were 71 topnotchers who occupied the Top 10 list for Elementary level. Paulo Icaranom Bernardino of Catanduanes State University (CSU) - Virac and Pauline Joviene Dizon Quiazon of Angeles University Foundation (AUF) topped the board with identical 87.20-percent grade.

In the same period last year, 65 takers filled-in the list of highest placers. Mark Penuliar Castillo of Tarlac State University (TSU) and Lady Princess Sanguyo Marcelo of the University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman shared on the top spot with identical grade of 88.20%.

RELEASE OF RESULTS

PRC Resolution No. 2016-1019 stated that the target release date of September 2017 LET results is on Monday, November 27 or in 39 working days after the exam. Note that government work was cancelled on October 16 and 17 due to nationwide transport strike and on November 13 to 15 due to ASEAN Summit and Related Meetings in NCR and Pampanga.

Review center owner Dr. Carl Balita hinted on November 13 that the 'big day' is within 15 sunrises or until the 28th of November.

On November 18, he shared: "nasa mga KAMAY mo na ang Lisensya, GURO." This pertains to maximum of 10 days before the big day or November 28 (40 working days).

In September 2015 LET, there were 27 topnotchers who occupied the Top 10 list for Secondary level. Eula Mae Carlos Busbus from University of Mindanao (UM) - Davao City topped the board with 90.20-percent rating.

In the September 2016 exams, Richard Cabuay Macapulay from Tarlac State University (TSU) aced the secondary level exam with 90.00%.
