LIST: P-Z Passers, 2016 Principals' Test Results NQESH April 2017

MANILA, Philippines - The Department of Education (DepEd) together with the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) release the official results of the 2016 Principals' Test, which include the list of passers for the exam conducted on April 9, 2017 in 18 regions nationwide. Results are expected to be released anytime in September 2017 or within 5 months after the exam.

The examination was originally scheduled on November 6, 2016 but was rescheduled to December 18, 2016 and later to April 2017 due to administrative constraints in the procurement of test materials and other issues.

Successful examinees of the 2016 Principals' Test are those who have met this criteria: total raw score of at least 140 points or 70% correct answers and at least 68% score (cut-off) in the seven domains.

Same with previous examinations, masterlist will not be publicly posted to ensure confidentiality of examinees' scores. Examinees may request breakdown of scores through a formal request letter to the Schools Division Office (SDO).

Request for rechecking of examination papers and appeal for changing of scores shall not be entertained by DepEd and NEAP.

The administration of the Principals' test is DepEd's mechanism to select school heads in the public education sector - a qualifying process for interested applicants to Principal I positions. Previously known as the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH), the 2016 Principals' Test was administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).

In the June 2016 Pharmacist board exam, John Bryan Guadalupe Ruba from University of the Immaculate Conception - Davao aced the board of 2,784 takers (1,406 passers) with 92.85%. It was followed by Jennilyn Daza Yambao of Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU) - Valenzuela, garnering a close rating of 92.80%.

In the July 2015 exams, University of Santo Tomas (UST) graduate Mark Pascual Dumago topped the board (2,004 out of 3,142 passers) with 93.35%. Jerson Jerick Ngo Taguibao of University of the Philippines (UP) - Manila ranked second with 92.97%.
