CSC releases March 2017 Civil Service exam results, passers list (Region 12)

MANILA, Philippines - The March 2017 civil service exam results (career service examination - paper and pencil test or CSE-PPT) were officially released today, April 21. The full list of passers for Region 12 (Soccsksargen) for the professional and sub-professional level exam is now available on this page.

Civil Service Commission (CSC) has named the passers of the professional level and the successful examinees who have hurdled the sub-professional level examinations.

CSC said that Region 12 is among the regions in the country with considerable turnout of examinees, 14,227 total takers.

The Commission conducted the civil service exam on March 12 in at least 60 test centers nationwide.

Passing the CSE would result in the conferment of either Sub-professional or Professional eligibility. Sub-professional eligibility is appropriate only to first level (clerical) positions while the latter is appropriate up to second level (technical) positions. Said eligibilities do not apply to positions that involve practice of profession or that are covered by special laws.

CAR Passers: March 2017 Civil Service Exam results CSE-PPT

The Civil Service Commission(CSC) named the successful examinees of March 2017 Civil Service Exam - Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) professional and sub-professiona level for Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR).

CSC announced the results on Friday, April 21 or 40 days after the exam.

The Commission added that CS passers who got at least 80 percent score will be eligible for the first and second level positions in the civil service provided the eligibles meet the qualifications and other requirements of the positions (education, experience, and training).

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

Note that all examinees may generate their individual result using the Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System (OCSERGS), which can be accessed on CSC website. It shall be available on or before May 7. Note that no report of rating shall be mailed to individual examinees.

Passers shall be issued a Certificate of Eligibility (CoE) printed on CSC official letterhead, free of charge on or before May 23, 2017. The letterhead printed Certification shall be issued through the CSC regional office.

The career service examination is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service. The Professional level lasts for three hours and 10 minutes, while the Sub-professional level, for two hours and 40 minutes.

Passing rate is 80.

Passing the career service examinations would result in the conferment of either Professional or Sub-professional Eligibility that is needed, among others, for permanent appointment to corresponding career service positions in the government except those that involve practice of profession or are covered by special laws.

ARMM Passers List: March 2017 Civil Service Exam ( CSE-PPT results)

CSC announced the results in 40 days after the exam.

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service.

The three-hour and 10 minutes test for the professional level includes vocabulary; grammar and correct usage; paragraph organization; reading comprehension; analogy/logic (i.e., word association, identifying assumptions and conclusions, logic, data interpretation); and numerical reasoning (i.e., basic operations, word problems)

For the sub-professional level, exam coverage is almost the same with the inclusion of clerical operations instead of analogy and logic and timed for 2.67 hours.

Examinees can generate their examination rating through OCSERGS or Online Civil Service Examination Result Generation System which can also be accessed through the CSC website. Generation of examination rating through OCSERGS shall be available approximately 15 days after the posting of the List of Passers.

The Civil Service Commission(CSC) officially announced today, April 21, the results of March 2017 Civil Service Exam-Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination. The complete list of passers for Region 6 (Western Visayas) is now available on this page.

The first CSE-PPT this year was conducted on March 12 in 60 testing locations throughout the country.

View on this page the passers for professional and sub-professional levels for the following provinces of Region 6: Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo.

The CSC said that eligibility is a minimum requirement – along with education, experience, and training – for permanent appointment to government career service positions.

For those planning to take on the next set of exam this year (August 6), the period for filing of applications will run from April 3 to June 2. Applications should be submitted at the CSC Regional and Field Office where the examinee intends to take the examination.
