Top 10 Passers: UP-Diliman grad tops January 2017 Architect board exam (ALE)

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Friday, February 3, the complete list of passers for January 2017 Architect board exam also known as Architect Licensure Examination (ALE). Luiz Marko Pantua Silang from the University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the board with 83.70-percent grade.

Another UPD alumni Robin Royce Yu Ibanez and Justin Xaver Dy Guiab ranked second and third, respectively, 83.20 and 82.90-percent.

On fourth spot was Keshia Stephanie Lim Lim from University of San Carlos, 82.30-percent.

PRC said that 919 out of 1,595 passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE).

Top performing school, performance of schools Architect board exam (ALE) January 2017

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Friday, February 3, that 919 out of 1,595 (57.62%) passed the Architect Licensure Examination (ALE) given by the Board of Architecture headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac with two other members, Arch. Fidel Jose R. Siapno and Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente. The examination was held in Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao and Legazpi last January 27 and 29, 2017.

PRC has recognized University of Santo Tomas (UST) as the lone top performing school as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010: with 50 or more examinees and with at least 80-percent passing percentage. UST got 112 out of 137 or 81.75% passing rate.

Meanwhile, Luiz Marko Pantua Silang from the University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman topped the board with 83.70-percent grade.
