FULL LIST: Room Assignment for June 2017 NLE nursing board exam

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the full list of room assignment for June 2017 nurse licensure examination (NLE) or nursing board exam in few working days before the examination.

The nursing board exam will be given on Sunday and Monday, June 4 and 5, in Manila, All Regional Offices (Baguio, Cagayan De Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Tacloban, Tuguegarao) and Zamboanga.

Here's the updated and full list of room assignment for June 2017 NLE:

Room Assignments GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Examinees should report before 6:30 in the morning every examination day. LATE EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
  • Bring the following: Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, pencils no. 1 or 2, black ball pens, metered-stamped window mailing envelope, long brown and long plastic envelopes.
  • CELLULAR PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • Wear the prescribed dress code.

The June 2017 NLE is consists of five parts namely:
  • Nursing Practice I (Basic Foundation of Nursing and Professional Nursing Practice),
  • Nursing Practice II (Community Health Nursing and Care of the Mother and Child)
  • Nursing Practice III (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part A)
  • Nursing Practice IV (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part B)
  • Nursing Practice V (Care of Clients with Physiologic and Psychological Alternations - Part C)

PRC also released the program and important reminders for the upcoming nursing board exam.

FULL RESULTS: May 2017 Chemical Engineer board exam

MANILA, Philippines - The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) officially announced on Tuesday, May 30, that 310 out of 561 (55.26%) passed the Chemical Engineer board exam given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila and Cebu this May 2017.

The members of the Board of Chemical Engineering who gave the licensure examination are Engr. Ofelia V. Bulaong, Chairman; Engr. Jeffrey G. Mijares and Engr. Cyd P. Aguilera, Members.

Wayne Lorenz Bagano Tandingan from University of San Carlos (USC) topped the board with 85.20%. It was followed by Victor Juvida Lau Jr., graduate of Mapua Institute of Technology (MIT) - Manila with 85%.

Meanwhile, De La Salle University (DLSU) - Manila was hailed as top performing school garnering 94.12% or 32 out of 34 passed. It was followed by University of the Philippines - Los Banos (UPLB) with 88.89% or 32 out 36 passed the exam.

The performance of schools in the May 2017 Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination in alphabetical order as per R.A. 8981 otherwise known as PRC Modernization Act of 2000 Section 7(m) "To monitor the performance of schools in licensure examinations and publish the results thereof in a newspaper of national circulation" is as follows:


Starting June 2, 2017, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration.

Those who will register are required to bring the following: Notice of admission, duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

The three-day festival drew in crowds at Glorietta Makati from May 26 to 28, bringing to life some of cable TV’s most talked-about shows such as The X Factor UK, The Late Late Show with James Corden, and Scorpion.

Among the highlights included The X Factor Stage and the Carpool Karaoke Booth where fairgoers unleashed their hidden vocal prowess. As for the more physically inclined, the Scorpion Laser Room and a Velcro wall offered an adrenaline rush that had guests coming back for more.

High-tech crime fighting got real at the Summer Fair as guests took on the Scorpion Laser Room challenge. With only two minutes to complete the mission, participants had to dodge crisscrossing laser beams fast enough to escape the room and win the day.

A Velcro wall further added a bunch of laughter to the event by letting fairgoers both young and old come up with the coolest—and funniest—poses to be captured on camera.

Top Performing Schools, Performance of Schools LET March 2017

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) officially announced today, May 22, that 5,600 elementary teachers out of 53,915 examinees (10.39%) and 18,482 secondary teachers out of 72,584 examinees (25.46%) successfully passed the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) conducted on March 26, 2017.

According to PRC, NONE of the schools for Elementary Level qualified for the top performing school list in the March 2017 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) as per Commission Resolution No. 2010-547 series of 2010.

Meanwhile, University of the Philippines (UP) - Diliman and University of Santo Tomas (UST) are the top performing schools for LET Secondary Level for having 92.54% (62 out of 67 passed) and 80.95% (51 out of 63 passed) respectively.

RESULTS: Over 59% pass 2016 bar exam

MANILA, Philippines - The 2016 bar exam produced a record-high passing rate of 59.06%, more than the expected rate as announced by bar exams committee led by Associate Justice Presbitero Velasco Jr.

In the previous weeks, Velasco said more than 40% will pass the 2016 bar exam as the country needs more lawyers.

List of Passers: November 2016 Philippine Bar Exam results

On Wednesday, a total of 3,747 out of 6,344 examinees passed the series of exams held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Manila.

University of San Carlos graduate topped the bar with 89.05%.

The highest passing rate in the bar exam was recorded in 1954 with 75.17% and the lowest was in 1999 with 16.59%.

A total of 6,344 law graduates tried the hurdle the the 115th year of the most prestigious professional licensure exam in the country. The series of tests were administered on November 6, 13, 20, and 27 at the University of Santo Tomas (UST), Espana, Manila.

PREVIOUS EXAMINATION

A graduate of the University of the Philippines (UP) College of Law, Rachel Angeli B. Miranda topped the 2015 Bar Examinations with the highest over-all rating of 87.40%. A total of 1,731 out of the 6,605 (26.21%) passed the bar.

In 2014 bar exam, Irene Mae Alcobilla, graduate of San Beda College of Law Manila aced the bar with 85.50% grade.

BAR EXAM OVERVIEW

Bar exam is also the only licensure examination not administered by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC). The 2016 edition had 100% essay-type questions based on bulletin about guide and rules of conduct of bar examinations posted on SC website.

The examination covered the following topics and their associated subtopics, popularly known as the bar subjects: Political Law and Public International Law, Labor and Social Legislation, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial law and Legal and Judicial Ethics.
