FULL LIST: Winners, 32nd Star Awards for Movies 2016

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Movie Press Club (PMPC) organizers announced the full list of winners and awardees for the 32nd Star Awards for Movies held on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater, Resorts World Manila in Pasay City.

The PMPC Star Awards honors the best Filipino movies, performers and stakeholders of 2015 for the mainstream and indie film categories.

The star-studded ceremony was opened with the performances of Jed Madela, Yeng Constantino, Christian Bautista, Morisette Amon, Mark Bautista and Juris to honor the ‘Love Teams And Love Themes Of Philippine Cinema.'

It's Showtime's boy group Hashtags with Zeus Collins, Jon Lucas, Jameson Blake, Ryle Santiago, Luke Conde, Jimboy Martin, Ronnie Alonte, McCoy de Leon, Nikko Natividad, Tom Doromal and Paulo Angeles also performed a dance number.

The PMPC gave recognition to Ms. Amalia Fuentes, this year's Nora Aunor Ulirang Artista Lifetime Achievement Awardee. Director Mel Chionglo received the Ulirang Alagad ng Pelikula sa Likod ng Kamera Lifetime Achievement Award.

The telecast of the awards night is on Sunday, March 13, 2016 on ABS-CBN's Sunday's Best.

PRC releases Room Assignment for March 20, 2016 LET Teachers Board Exam

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) will officially release the room assignment for Sunday, March 20, 2016 Teachers Board exam or Licensure Exam for Teachers (LET) scheduled in at least 17 testing centers nationwide.

The examination will be administered in Manila, all regional offices (including Cebu, Baguio and Davao), Zamboanga, Bacolod, Antique, Rosales (Pangasinan), Jolo (Sulu) and Tawi-Tawi.

Based on resolution No. 3 Series of 2016, PRC has added Jolo, Sulu and Tawi-tawi as additional testing centers for March 2016 LET in reference to the request of Sulu and Tawi-tawi governors to consider their provinces in the list of test locations.

The Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) who will give the exam is composed of Dr. Rosita L. Navarro, Chairman; Dr. Paz I. Lucido, Vice Chairman; Dr. Paraluman R. Giron and Dr. Nora M. Uy, Members.

The full list of room assignment for elementary and secondary takers is expected to be available in several days before the examinations.

Meanwhile, PRC Baguio has already released the partial list of qualified LET examinees and announced that room assignment will be posted starting Monday, March 7.

PRC Room Assignments General Instructions:
  • Examinees should report before 6:30 in the morning every examination day. LATE EXAMINEES WILL NOT BE ADMITTED.
  • Bring the following: Notice of Admission (NOA), Official Receipt, pencils no. 1 or 2, black ball pens, metered-stamped window mailing envelope, long brown and long plastic envelopes.
  • CELLULAR PHONES AND OTHER ELECTRONIC GADGETS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.
  • Wear the prescribed dress code.
