FULL VIDEO: Star Wars' BB-8, R2-D2 and C-3PO arrive at the Oscars 2016

Star Wars film's droids BB-8, R2-D2 and C-3PO have arrived at the Oscars 2016 ceremony Sunday night (Monday in Philippine time) to honor the American epic space opera franchise's composer John Williams, who recently received his 50th Oscar nomination.

Even the young Room star Jacob Tremblay was excited to see the Star Wars robots on stage. Netizens and top websites caught his priceless reaction seeing the adorable characters.



The three droids wandered on to the stage while looking for their seats and stopped to muse over C-3PO’s resemblance to the Oscar statuette.

“He has already won five Oscars for composing. No wonder he has a good seat,” C-3PO said.

Direk Wenn V. Deramas dies at 49

MANILA, Philippines - Blockbuster director Wenn V. Deramas has died today, February 29 due to cardiac arrest. He was 49.

Comedian Vice Ganda confirmed the sad news via Twitter Monday morning.



Deramas' friend, June Rufino, told ABS-CBN News Channel (ANC) that he went to the hospital at 2am early Monday. According to ANC tweets, Deramas "almost had a heart attack two years ago" and had an angioplasty the previous year.

Deramas is known for known for box-office movies such as The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin, The Amazing Praybeyt Benjamin, Sisterakas, Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy, and the 2015 Star Cinema Metro Manila Film Festival entry, Beauty and the Bestie which has earned the title “Highest Grossing Filipino Film of All Time.”

Deramas was a graduate of University of Santo Tomas with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management.

Meanwhile, sympathy and condolences poured on Twitter as netizens are still in shock for the loss of the Kapamilya director.

Urban Crew revealed they dedicated their performance to one of the members of the group who died recently due to cardiac arrest.

"Masarap talagang mag-perform kapag may pinag-aalayan ka," Vice Ganda said to the emotional Urban Crew.

"Nakaka-bilib kasi halos lahat sila marunong mag-tumbling. Naalala ko tuloy ang Streetboys," Angel Locsin said.

The Real Estate Broker board exam was conducted on Sunday, February 28, 2016 in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legaspi, Pagadian and Tuguegarao.

The members of the Board of Real Estate Service who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, Chairman; Florencio C. Diño II and Rafael M. Fajardo, Members.

Updating for the list of passers...

Ong has confirmed in an event last year that the recent exam was also open not only to re-takers but also to those who undergone the 120-hour Comprehensive Real Estate Seminar (CRES).

The Real Estate Broker exams covered the following subjects: general fundamentals of property ownership, real estate laws and taxation, special and technical knowledge and professional practice which includes real estate brokerage practice, planning, development and zoning, basic principles of ecology and appraisal for brokers.

According to PRC, the target release of real estate brokers board exam is on Friday, March 4, 2016 or in 5 working days after the exam.

In May 2015 exam, results were out online in just 4 working days. 5,220 out of 10,370 passed the Real Estate Broker Licensure Examination.

Aside from the complete results, the Registration schedule for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be announced. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, current Community Tax Certificate (cedula), 1 piece passport size picture (colored with white background and complete nametag), 2 sets of metered documentary stamps and 1 short brown envelope with name and profession and submission of Original Surety Bond, minimum amount of which is P 20,000.00, with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC)/Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB) as Obligee and to pay the Initial Registration Fee of P600 and Annual Registration Fee of P450 for 2016-2019. Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER.

We advise examinees to monitor results starting Thursday, March 3 or in 4 working days.
