The shoes in question is a limited edition 2011 Nike Mag10 Back to the Future II Marty McFly 2015. The pair of kicks apparently costs a whopping $19,999 or over P950,976 based on a posting on Ebay.
Senator Poe’s son earned the ire of netizens after posting a photo of him wearing an expensive pair of shoes on his Instagram account.

The Facebook page Ayaw Ko Poe shared the controversial photo of Llamanzares on Friday, February 12. Several netizens can’t help but speculate as to how Llamanzares was able to afford the luxury shoes. However, many were quick to defend Llamanzares saying that there’s nothing wrong if he was able to purchase it using his hard-earned money.

Meanwhile, Poe revealed that she already discussed the issue with her son when it first came out last month. According to Poe, Llamanzares showed her how much the shoes cost.

Poe also stressed that Llamanzares used to work but was asked to take a leave in order for his company to maintain objectivity as his mother is running for president in the upcoming May 2016 elections. Llamanzares used to worked as a neophyte reporter for a television network.

During a press conference, Poe said: “Basta galing sa pinaghirapan mo, pinag-ipunan mo hindi mo naman ninakaw at siguraduhin mo naman na hindi naman labis-labis at ‘yung sa kanya naman matagal din nang pinag-ipunan din ‘yun. ‘Yun lang naman ‘yung sa kanya.”

(As long as you worked hard, saved for it, didn’t steal and made sure that it’s not too much, then it’s fine. He saved long enough to be able to purchase it.)

Poe also urged the public to spare her family from being dragged in political issues.

VIRAL: Grieving mom receives “one last hug” from dead son

MANILA, Philippines - How do departed people bid their loved ones goodbye?

Grieving mom receives “one last hug” from dead son

We’ve heard several stories proving that death doesn’t cut the connection between loved ones. While many have seen apparitions of their dead family members or friends, other have claimed that their deceased loved ones have contacted them from beyond the grave.

A grieving mom named Joy Ganda Vibar-Alamares apparently received one last hug from her son during his wake through a moving white balloon. The hair-raising moment was captured on video and was shared on her Facebook account on November 2, 2015. However, it was only recently that the video has gone viral with over 2 million views and more than 55,000 shares on the social network.

In the video, a white balloon mysteriously made its way towards the grieving mother. When the balloon finally reached Joy, it suddenly encircled her body as if it was trying to “hug and comfort” her. It appears that the spirit of Joy’s son was trying to bid her goodbye through the moving balloon.

Although several netizens who have seen the viral video pointed out that the balloon moved sidewards due to lack of helium, many believe that the strange phenomenon was the departed boy’s way of giving his mom a final hug.

Watch the eerie yet touching moment.

It's been 40 days baby since ng bakasyon mo with papa god, miss na miss kana ni mamy 󾌹 thank u for the hugs and kisses, for the pure sincere genuine LOVE 󾌯 i love you sobra damok mamy, alam mo yan 󾌯󾌹󾍂 #hastalavista#onelastHUG

In funerals, balloon releases are becoming a trend since the act serves as an expression of love for the deceased. This final act of tribute becomes a source of inspiration and comfort as well as a visible way of letting go of a departed loved one. Friends and family members usually say a prayer or write a personal message on the balloon before finally releasing it into the air.
